A chamber ensemble is also used through the film,
comprised of string trio, flute/piccalo, two clarinets
and two harps. Here, the music accompanies the
film's main character, Lucy, as she opens a letter
and begins to cry:
Various 1930's-1940's jazz ensembles also
accompany the film, found in both the T.V shows
Lucy watches and her flash-backs.
The Orchestral score becomes more important as
the film draws to a close:
For the last scenes, the orchestra accompanies the
films final shots.
